I'm looking for a fic that I distinctly remember reading! It was mutant!klaine set in a society where mutants are not accepted. Kurt has a big set of wings that he tries to hide by binding them every day at school. One day at school something happens that I forget but there's a fire, and Blaine saves Kurt, bringing him to a safe house of sorts I think. There were a few different cameos in some other mutants but I forget most of them. I think at some point Kurt learns to fly in like a barn. Eventually their mutant haven is found out and a lot of people die but Kurt and Blaine make it out through a tunnel with a ladder at the end. I'm blanking on a lot but I remember Kurt's feathers start shedding and I think at some point his wing is injured. Eventually his feathers grow back but they're black? I really want to re-read this fic! Thanks!
